RAIL 5 E-BIKE

$40 - 3 hour session

Rail 5 is an electric mountain bike built for ripping the big stuff. It features the same high-end trail tech as our Top Fuel trail bikes, plus a powerful new Bosch drive system that's basically like having your own shuttle.  Helmet included with rental.

TOP FUEL 7
FULL SUSPENSION

$30 - 3 hour session

Top Fuel 7 is a full suspension mountain bike that combines the speed of a cross country bike with the go-for-it gusto of a trail bike. It's efficient up climbs and fast on sprints, but it's not afraid of letting loose when you want to get rowdy. Helmet included with rental.

TRAILS & SAFETY

TRAILS & SAFETY

The Trail head is located at the base of the ski hill at Hockley Valley Resort.  Purchase your day pass and rentals at the Rental Equipment Shop.  Please consult staff for trail closure updates, directional changes, and trail status.

A pass is required to ride the trail.

All riders must adhere to the Mountain Biker’s Responsibility Code.

Helmets are mandatory while riding on the property.

All of our trails are well marked. Riders are to remain on the marked bike trails and obey all signage.  We recommend always riding with a friend, always carry a cellphone, and ride within your limits.

The Bike Trails @ Hockley are developed to accommodate intermediate and advanced mountain bike riders. Riders should have the proper skill level and physical ability before purchasing their trail pass.  Do not stop in areas where you are not visible from both directions and where you will block the path of the trail for other riders.

Hazards exist: Stay alert for trail debris, other riders, and unexpected obstacles.

We ask that all riders respect others on the trail and pass with care. A polite call of “on your left” as you go by a slower rider is the best way to pass.

Please watch for hikers on the Bruce Trail as it crosses the bike trail in a few places. Signage is in place for hikers to yield to bikers, but please proceed with caution at trail crossings.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal bikes are allowed, and mountain bikes with suspension and knobby tires are necessary.

  • All bikes MUST have working brakes (no coaster brakes).

  • BMX bikes are not permitted.

  • Helmets are mandatory.
